Job Description

FoodCycle is looking for volunteers (unpaid) for our Project in Bootle on Tuesday evenings!

We are FoodCycle, and our vision is to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community. With community dining, week in, week out we feed the hungry and give company to the lonely in our communities; providing delicious meals and great conversation, and using food which would otherwise go to waste.

Do you love cooking? Do you love meeting new people?



We're looking for volunteers who can join the cooking or hosting team at the St Matthew's, 410 Stanley Road, Liverpool, L20 5AE .

Cooks:

to wash, chop and prepare a 3 course meal from our surplus food whilst keeping the kitchen area clean and washing up!

Each session is guided by our wonderful Project Leaders who will show you what to do. We want to be able to keep up with the demand in the area and so it's only with your help we can keep going!

Sign up to come to as few / many meals as you'd like - no minimum commitment (we do ask you register as a volunteer)

Travel expenses can also be claimed!

FoodCycle volunteers must be aged over 18.
