We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a passion for hospitality and culinary arts.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety standards
Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Handle guest queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Skills
Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tables simultaneously
Culinary or restaurant experience will be considered an asset but is not mandatory
