Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with any needs that may arise during their visit.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and dietary options. Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with training new staff members as needed.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help others. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Familiarity with culinary terms and restaurant operations is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not essential.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
