As a Wait Staff you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our patrons, ensuring they receive prompt and friendly service while enjoying their meals.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience. Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly. Process payments accurately using basic math skills. Assist with other restaurant duties as required, including setting up for events or special occasions.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience would be advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly attitude. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn more about food preparation techniques.
