We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service, taking orders, and assisting in food preparation while maintaining a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and drink orders, relaying them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Provide recommendations on menu items, showcasing upselling skills to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of culinary quality and hygiene. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash and process payments accurately using basic maths skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation processes are advantageous. A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. A passion for hospitality and helping others, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
