Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly Handle payments accurately and process transactions using the POS system Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Uphold food safety standards at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items Assist in setting up the dining area before service and cleaning after closing shifts

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes Good organisational skills with effective time management during busy periods Experience in guest services, with a focus on creating positive customer experiences Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and upselling techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
