Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an outstanding experience for all customers. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, in accordance with company standards Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Operate coffee machines, blenders, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including sanitising surfaces and washing utensils Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Assist with food preparation tasks when required, adhering to food safety standards Engage with guests to promote products and create a welcoming environment

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is preferred but not essential as training will be provided Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic kitchen skills are advantageous Familiarity with serving techniques and guest services is beneficial Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Experience with upselling products to maximise sales opportunities
