Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care. Process payments accurately using basic math skills for cash handling. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety regulations is essential. Experience in serving or culinary roles is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions are required. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patrons. Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced setting. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service. Pay: 12.21-12.80 per hour
