We are searching for a professional with strong Italian and English to join our front of house team. You welcome guests, explain dishes with confidence, and support a smooth service flow. Experience in Italian dining is preferred. Barista skills will be beneficial. You maintain a smart appearance, work well under pressure, and support evening and weekend service. Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Provide detailed menu information and recommend dishes or drinks to enhance guest experience Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to during service and food preparation Handle payments accurately using the POS system and process transactions efficiently Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Address guest queries or complaints professionally and courteously to ensure satisfaction Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently and effectively Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
