Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Provide excellent guest service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations. Handle payments accurately using the POS system and process transactions promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area throughout shifts. Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly. Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, adhering to health regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial. Strong organisational skills, including time management, to handle busy service periods efficiently. Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
