Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, along with a passion for providing outstanding customer service. The Server will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the restaurant while promoting a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously, maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts. Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods. Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques. Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately. Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen experience is a plus. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities. Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue. Pay: 12.21-15.56 per hour
