We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Japanese restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with precision and care.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and beverages. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes. Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn more about food preparation techniques is desirable.

Pay: 13,145.00-16,500.00 per year
