We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction during their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple guests simultaneously. A passion for guest services with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
