We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter/ waitress to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent guest services while maintaining a clean and organised environment.
Duties
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximise sales. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and communication. Keep work areas clean and organised, following health and safety regulations.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a must. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in serving or culinary roles Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during service periods. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
