We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter-waitress to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent guest services, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation when necessary. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute significantly to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders meet quality standards. Assist with food preparation and adhere to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant as a waiter- waitress at least 2 years. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu offerings. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
