Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests, including upselling menu items where appropriate Serve food and drinks in accordance with safety and hygiene standards Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Uphold food safety standards and assist with basic food preparation when necessary

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
