Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfilment. Perform basic maths for processing bills and handling payments accurately.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services. Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills for accurate billing and payment processing. A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team-oriented atmosphere.
