Award-winning Iford Manor Kitchen is seeking a waiter or waitress who is passionate above food & drink, as well as delivering exceptional service, to join our team. Training will be provided and attention to detail is essential. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Tips are shared throughout the team and are usually very generous in addition to your standard wage.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery to guests
Understand and present menus, explain daily specials, and recommend dishes or drinks to enhance guest experience
Strong awareness and knowledge of our processes on allergies & dietary requirements which must be followed
Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle payments accurately and process transactions using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times
Assist in setting up and clearing tables, as well as supporting kitchen staff when required
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
Familiarity with serving techniques, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour
Good communication skills with the confidence to engage with diverse guests confidently
