Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and company policies Greet guests warmly, take orders, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems efficiently Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped for service Assist with food preparation or light kitchen duties when required Manage guest queries or complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately Good organisational skills to keep the bar area clean and well-stocked Time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential Upselling abilities to enhance guest experience and maximise sales potential

Pay: 12.50-18.66 per hour
