Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and customer preferences. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent guest services and ensuring their satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times. Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system and handle payments efficiently. Assist in food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Demonstrate effective time management by prioritising tasks during peak hours to deliver prompt service. Collaborate with team members to create a lively and welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bartending is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations. Strong understanding of guest services, with excellent communication skills. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Basic maths skills for calculating bills and managing payments. Experience in food preparation or culinary activities is advantageous. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously during busy periods. A positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences.
