As a Waitress/ Waiter, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions, to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and serving. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage multiple tables while maintaining high levels of service and attention to detail. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist in training new staff members as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. A passion for guest services with the ability to create memorable experiences for patrons. Ability to sell alcohol is required. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is beneficial but not essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
