Niche is an independent award-winning 36-cover restaurant in Angel, Islington - next to Sadler's Wells Theatre. We make everything on site using fresh ingredients and our 'niche' is that we are offer a 100% gluten, nut and sesame-free menu, alongside many diary-free and vegan dishes.
Niche is an intimate but often very busy restaurant, with a hard-earned reputation so we are looking for naturally friendly staff who care about our guests and take pride in their work.
We are open Monday to Saturday evenings (last orders 9.30pm) and Sunday lunch, with flexibility offered and hours to suit.
We're looking for a friendly and responsible individual to join their team as a part-time weekend waiter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving food and drinks to customers in a busy restaurant environment, and should have at least 6 months experience in a similar position.
We pay up to 15.21 per hour depending on experience (includes guaranteed hourly paid share of service charge and hourly paid holiday pay), free meals on duty, credit card tips on top and all the usual benefits you would expect of a decent employer.
Responsibilities:
Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner. Follow instructions concerning a specific task or work assignment. Follow sanitation procedures for work area and food service items. Have knowledge of food preparation procedures and kitchen safety standards.
Must have a good level of spoken English and be eligible to work in UK.
