Job Title: Waiter/Waitress - Loughton

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient waiter/waitress to join our Grand Cholan team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for food and beverages, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they arrive and provide them with menus. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner. Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items. Monitor customers' dining experience and ensure satisfaction. Handle payments and process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Adhere to health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred. Knowledge of Indian food and beverage offerings. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Basic math skills for handling payments.

Skills:

Exceptional customer service skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced restaurant environment. May require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights. Receiving stocks and sorting it out preparing tables

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage plus tips.
