Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a serving role. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation techniques. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to efficiently manage multiple tables and tasks. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
