Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to effectively manage multiple tables during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
