Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services while ensuring that our patrons have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with food preparation as needed. Your ability to upsell menu items and manage time effectively will contribute significantly to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders, relaying them efficiently to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders. Perform basic maths for handling bills and processing payments accurately.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Basic culinary knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
