Job Description

The Flying Bull is a family run company looking for Front of House staff to work in their busy pub set in rural Hampshire. Just a short drive from Petersfield and Liphook.

We pride ourselves on delivering friendly service and top-quality fresh food served in relaxed surroundings and have earned a great reputation in the area.

Day to day you will be required to work in and around the pub, with bar area, restaurant, outside sheltered garden room & garden area.

Health and Hygiene is a priority for us so personal awareness and practices are essential.

requirements:

Some experience in restaurant work would be helpful, however, a great personality and the ability to mix with every guest is more important for our bar and waiting team as full training will be given.

Server Staff responsibilities:

Greeting every guest with a smile, ensuring their every need is anticipated and delivered through their visit

Sharing your knowledge of our food and drinks by making recommendations whilst taking orders Assisting the kitchen team Maximising sales through suggestion and up-selling Prepare and serve drinks to the highest standard Dealing with payments for cash & card transactions Checking in of B&B guests Maintaining standards of cleanliness & hygiene in the bar, restaurant and garden areas, emptying ashtrays, cleaning tables and washing glasses Setting up & Closing down procedures Helping with housekeeping

Shift Availability

Monday to Friday - 5.30pm to 9.00pm Saturday - 10.30am to 3.00pm or 5.30pm to 9.00pm Sunday - 10.00am to 4.00pm
