As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure compliance throughout service. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction. Keep dining areas clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts. Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed, ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and teamwork. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
