Job Description

We are seeking friendly, professional and enthusiastic Waiting Staff to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about guest service, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining the high standards expected of a 4-star property.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in our restaurant, bar, and during special events & banquets, ensuring guest satisfaction at every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with warmth, poise, and professionalism. Present menus, describe specials, make recommendations (including drinks/wine) as needed. Take food & beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly. Ensure correct set-up of tables before service (silverware, glassware, linens etc.). Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in the dining area, service stations and back of house. Assist with side-station duties: restocking, clearing tables, polishing glassware & cutlery, etc. Support banqueting/events service as required (e.g. weddings, conferences). Respond promptly and efficiently to guest needs or requests; resolve minor issues or escalate to management. Adhere to all health & safety, food safety & hygiene standards. Assist with opening/closing duties and participate in shift handovers.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant / hotel / hospitality environment, ideally in a 4-star (or higher) setting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure, in a team, and maintain composure during busy periods. Flexibility with working hours: evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. A good attention to detail; polished presentation, professional demeanour. Basic wine / drinks knowledge is preferable. Knowledge of food hygiene standards (or willingness to undergo training). Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
