Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Take accurate orders and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
Upsell additional menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area throughout service.
Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Handle cash and process payments accurately, demonstrating basic math skills.
Requirements
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest services.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Experience in upselling menu items is beneficial but not essential.
