Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required Manage guest queries promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and utensils throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Experience in serving, with an understanding of guest service excellence Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen experience is advantageous Culinary experience or knowledge of menu items is a plus Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills with a friendly demeanour Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different roles within the team

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.21-14.86 per hour
