We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The Lahore Cafe is best new brand in Sheffield so we need ideal staff woh help to run cafe in best way. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure timely food and beverage delivery, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant restaurant environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant must be organised, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Assist with setting up tables and maintaining a tidy dining area throughout service Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities Handle guest queries courteously and resolve any issues promptly Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Process payments accurately using the POS system and provide receipts to guests Support colleagues as needed to ensure efficient service delivery

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages Basic maths skills for billing and cash handling purposes Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organisational skills and time management abilities Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Experience in food preparation or culinary arts is a plus but not required Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and revenue
