Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with any needs that arise during their visit.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout service. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash and process payments accurately, utilising basic maths skills as required. Assist with other duties as needed to support the restaurant operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. A passion for culinary arts and guest services is highly desirable.
