Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Sleep in/Waking Night Care Assistant looking to start within 1 week to provide high-quality support to an individual in a home care setting.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team environment.

Duties

Assist client with personal care tasks such as repositioning, incontinence care. Support with care overnight Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in client conditions. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care at all times. Support clients in engaging with activities to promote mental and physical well-being. Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided. Driving licence and having your own care is not essential as you will be travelling to one location. Familiarity with care plans and documentation procedures is beneficial Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes are essential. Excellent communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
