We are now looking for caring and energetic people to join our organisation to provide a high level of support to young people in our residential home.
The role of a waking night residential support worker is to support the children in every aspect of their lives, including ensuring the environment is clean and safe. You will be required to support the children in: getting up and ready for school, cleaning the home, supporting them in night where required, as well as working with the entire team to ensure the children are effectively safeguarded.
We are acting-parents for these children, and our most important role is to be the stable, emotional support for them - for them to have adults that they can trust to act in their best interest and understand them.
We want our children to feel safe, supported and cared for this all starts at the Residential Support Workers.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Skills
At least one year working with young people or similar vulnerable people
Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or similar qualification or willingness to work towards such a qualification
Current enhanced DBS certificate
Energetic and vibrant character with a nurturing attitude and genuinely wants to make impact in children's lives.
