Waking Night Support

Silver Springs Support Ltd

are currently looking for new members of staff to complement our day support workers by covering individual waking night shift between the hours of 10pm - 7am at one of our services. This is a small, personalised service with a maximum of 3 people using the service and we are recruiting both full and part time staff to join our existing team.

Experience in the health and social care sector isn't necessary as we will provide a full induction with ongoing training and support.

Silver Springs Support Ltd

provide support predominantly for individuals with a Learning Disability and/or Autism. Our person-centred approach enables individuals to live within their own homes, increasing their independence, decision making and ability to actively participate in their local community.

Support work is varied and challenging and there is no denying that it can be tough but as well as having hard days, it is intensely rewarding and enjoyable.

Responsibilities of a Waking Night Support Worker:

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents with regular checks throughout the night.

Personal Care when needed, maintaining high levels of dignity and respect.

General household duties to include cleaning, meal preparation, washing and ironing.

Keeping a detailed night log.

Giving a detailed handover to day staff on any issues arising.

Can maintain confidentiality and show professionalism in their work

Current registration with Social Care Wales or willingness to complete the registration,

Full support to complete the registration if needed.
