2. Welfare and Therapeutic Support

Offer low-level, supportive interaction to young people who are awake or distressed, providing a listening ear and managing anxieties in line with the home's trauma-informed model. Support young people with their morning routines (wake-up, hygiene, preparing for school) as the shift transitions to the day team. Ensure the physical environment is safe, clean, and prepared for the following day (e.g., light domestic duties, preparing common areas).
3. Documentation and Compliance

Maintain meticulous, detailed records in the daily log, incident book, and medication records, providing a comprehensive handover to the incoming day shift. Ensure all medication administration is conducted and recorded accurately, adhering to policy.
