We deliver high quality, compassionate care and support to a wide range of individuals including those who have; - Physical disabilities - Mobility issues - Learning disabilities and a wide range of complex medical needs.

About the role:



Salford Cares is seeking reliable and compassionate Waking Nights Support Workers to provide high-quality overnight support to individuals, enabling them to live independent, safe, and fulfilling lives. This is a hands-on role that requires you to remain awake throughout the night, carrying out regular checks and responding promptly to individuals' needs.

You will support people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect, ensuring individuals feel safe, comfortable, and supported at all times.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will work on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.

Remain awake throughout the night to provide continuous support and reassurance Complete regular welfare and safety checks in line with care plans Provide personal care as required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times Carry out clinical or delegated tasks such as suctioning, where trained and required Respond appropriately to any changes in health, behaviour, or wellbeing Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation using IT systems Promote independence, wellbeing, and a calm night-time environment Build positive, professional relationships with the individuals you support and their families Work flexibly across different locations, depending on service needs

We are particularly keen to hear from those individuals who have previous experience of support work, with a competent understanding of the health and adult social care environment, and above all, you will share our values and commitment to delivering public benefit to the people we serve.
