Working in Amber Unit - Frailty Assessment Unit is both rewarding and impactful. As a Ward Manager in a Frailty Assessment Unit (Amber Unit), you will be responsible for the day-today management of the unit, ensuring that high standards of patient care are delivered to older adults with complex medical needs. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, healthcare support workers, therapists (Admission Avoidance Team) and doctors, to asses and manage frail patients, often with multiple co-morbidities.

Familiarity with frailty assessments, polypharmacy and multi-disciplinary care models.Key responsibilities include:
Clinical Leadership:
Providing leadership and support to the team, ensuring that evidence-based care is delivered effectively and safely.Staff Management:
Supervising and mentoring staff, conducting appraisals, and ensuring proper training and development.Patient Care Oversight:
Overseeing the assessment and management of frail patients, ensuring they receive personalized care plans to optimize their health and well-being.Collaborative Working:
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve patient outcomes.Operational Management:
