An exciting development opportunity has arisen for an experienced and senior nurse to lead the team on Ward 33 (Haematology) at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic individual to complement the management team in leading our existing teams on the Haematology Ward.

Ward 33 is a 12 bedded ward, accommodating Malignant and None Malignant Haematology patients who are admitted onto the wards for diagnostic investigations, chemotherapy treatments, acute complications and for palliative care. The wards work closely with the acute oncology service and the Oncology / Haematology day unit.

This is a key post in the provision of supporting nursing leadership and management for the ward & departmental teams. Communicating with the consultants, nursing staff, junior medical staff, patients and relatives is an essential aspect of the role. This role is key to ensuring that excellent standards of care are consistently maintained, and the post holder will be expected to be a positive role model for the team.
