Hospice Band 6, Competency Based Framework Level 1-3, 39,388 - 46,311. Dependent on experience. Plus, unsociable hours enhancements of 30% and 60% for weekends, bank holiday and nights
Hours
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, including nights) 11.5 hours per shift and a 60-minute break.
Day 7:00am - 7:30pm
Night 7:00pm - 7:30am

The Role
The Ward Sister/Charge Nurse plays a key role in the provision of specialist palliative and supportive care, putting patients and their families first and going the extra mile to deliver first-class care. The role is an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities include supporting the team to meet the hospice's aims and objectives within the policy framework, and carrying out clinical, managerial, and educational duties in accordance with hospice policies, procedures, and standards, and the NMC Code.

How to Apply
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice.
Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff must work in accordance with their statutory roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023, The Care Act 2014, and Prevent Duty 2015.
