I Grunwerg Ltd is an award winning, family-owned importer and wholesaler of quality housewares, kitchen knives, catering and barware supplies. We are dedicated to new product development and innovation, and supply to commercial and domestic environments on a B2B and B2C basis. The business began in 1945 and is now owned and managed by third generations of the Grunwerg family.

IGL has recently moved to new premises following a multi-million-pound renovation of office and warehouse facilities on the Carrwood Industrial Estate in Chesterfield to accommodate the growing business needs. The business employs ~50 members of staff and supplies customers in the UK, Europe and across the globe.

Job Purpose



We are looking for a highly organised and systems-driven Warehouse Administrator to support stock control, SAP administration, and inventory accuracy within our Silversteel Manor Warehouse. This role is critical in maintaining accurate system records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring stock integrity across all internal warehouse processes.

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for the accurate administration of warehouse stock movements and inventory records within SAP and associated warehouse systems. The role supports the Warehouse Manager and warehouse team by ensuring all stock adjustments, and inventory controls are correctly processed and recorded. A key focus of the role is maintaining & collecting data of packaging and product weights & dimensions, supporting cycle counts, and assisting in the investigation and resolution of stock discrepancies.

We work a 37.5-hour week Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm with early finishes on Fridays 3pm and a 1.30pm finish on the last Friday of every month.

On site gym and pool room to use and we even provide pizza or a BBQ at the end of every month.

Key responsibilities



Maintain system data for packaging and weights & dimensions of products.

Provide SAP and administrative support to the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and warehouse team.

Maintain accurate system records for all stock movements including transfers, adjustments, repacks, and location changes.

Support inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock checks, last location checks, and variance investigation in line with business guidelines.

Raise, investigate, and report stock discrepancies, shortages, damages, and non-conformances, escalating issues where required.

Assist with SAP stock adjustments in line with approval limits and company procedures.

Liaise with Sales, Purchasing and Finance departments regarding stock availability, discrepancies, and system queries.

Ensure all warehouse administration and system usage complies with company procedures, audit requirements, and health and safety standards.

Carry out any other reasonable administrative duties required to support warehouse operations.

Skills and experience



Previous experience in a warehouse administration, stock control, or inventory-focused role.

Strong understanding of stock control principles and the importance of system accuracy.

Experience using ERP or WMS systems for inventory management.

High level of attention to detail with the ability to identify and investigate stock discrepancies.

Good PC literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Good communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with multiple departments.

Reliable, trustworthy with a proactive and methodical approach to work.

SAP Business One experience including stock transfers, and adjustments.

Experience supporting cycle counts, stock audits, and variance analysis.

Understanding of FIFO principles and warehouse location control.

Experience supporting SAP repack or production orders from predefined BOMs.

Any other relevant transferable skills.

Pay: 13.21 per hour
