Warehouse Administrator



Permanent role

37 hours per week

26,000 to 30,000 (FTE) - Dependent on experience

Location: White Rose Education Warehouse - Halifax, West Yorkshire

We're on the lookout for a talented and passionate Warehouse Administrator to join our talented warehouse team and help shape the future of education for children across the world.

Working as the Warehouse Admin, the core purpose of your role will be to provide administrative support for warehouse operations. This will include stock control, facilitating the process of international shipments from organising the shipment to receiving the POD, being the point of contact for Customer Care and Schools Partnerships and completing any required documentation - while also supporting day-to-day warehouse activities such as picking and packing.

The role will work closely with the Customer Care and Schools Partnerships teams to ensure smooth resolution of order queries and an excellent customer experience

Person Specification - Core Competencies



Essential:

Experience in a warehouse, operations or logistics environment. Comfortable managing international shipping requirements (or willing to develop this quickly). Strong IT skills, including Excel and order-management systems. Excellent attention to detail with both data and physical stock. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with Customer Care, drivers and couriers. Ability to work both in an office-type admin environment and on the warehouse floor.
Desirable:

Previous experience handling international courier platforms (DHL, FedEx, UPS, Royal Mail International). Familiarity with customs declarations, commodity codes, and export documentation. Experience in Warehouse Administration or Stock Control roles. Ability to be flexible with hours during peak periods. Forklift licence.
