Overview

We are a small independent beer wholesale company looking for Applicants who will need to be at least 30 years old (for vehicle insurance purposes) with a full, clean driving licence. Experience driving a long wheel based van will be necessary. We are seeking someone who will be able to be both a delivery driver and also a reliable Warehouse Worker, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by: efficiently handling goods; assisting with preparing outbound stock and receiving goods in and maintaining an organised work environment. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Safely drive from warehouse to local customers and deliver goods. Build and assemble pallets for shipment, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods. Perform heavy lifting as required, moving products and materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring accurate placement in designated areas. Engage in goods handling tasks, including picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse & vehicles to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Skills

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is highly advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various warehouse equipment safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, and shipping tasks. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining safety standards.
