Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled wearhouse and Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance our logistics operations and run our warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to optimise profit loss through effective management of resources.

Duties

Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company objectives. Oversee the daily operations of shipping and receiving, ensuring timely delivery of goods. Manage warehouse management systems and transportation management systems to improve efficiency. Supervise logistics personnel, providing training and support to enhance team performance. Monitor supply chain activities, identifying areas for improvement in business processes. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.

Requirements

Proven experience in logistics management or a related field. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and transportation management systems is essential. Excellent understanding of supply chain dynamics and business processes. Ability to analyse profit loss statements and implement cost-saving measures. Experience in supervising teams within a logistics environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
