The Warehouse and Parts Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse management and inventory control at Marren. This role is crucial to ensuring that our engineers and service teams receive the correct parts on time, enabling us to deliver a high-quality, efficient service to our customers.
What the role involves
Lead and manage the warehouse team on a daily basis.
Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective stock control systems.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements within the warehouse.
Who we're looking for
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
Key skills and experience
Demonstrated organisational skills, adept at managing multiple tasks including inventory control, scheduling, and event coordination to ensure efficient operations.
Proficient in IT skills, with extensive experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and various software applications for data management and analysis.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information and facilitating discussions to promote clarity and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
Strong people management abilities, overseeing team performance and fostering effective communication to achieve organisational objectives.
Advanced problem-solving skills, skilled in analysing client issues and providing effective solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
