Warehouse Assistant
Job Description
Our client requires a Warehouse Assistant for their food packing contract within a busy logistics warehouse in Ridgmont, on the Milton Keynes/Bedford border. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of a team to bring stock on to the line, filling up the hoppers and recording data. Once trained, you will assist on machine changeovers.
The position is Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm.
The job is carried out in a controlled food environment and it is a legal requirement that you always wear the provided mob cap, beard snood (if applicable), white overcoat and shoe protectors and regularly sanitise your hands. You will need to pass a basic food handling test before starting work.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and attributes:
- Food packaging background in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work as part of the team
- Good attention to detail
- Being adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
There is limited access by publice transport so please check the schedule or ideally have your own transport. There is ample free parking and the site has 24 hour Security.
