At Veevers Carter -- part of the Event Concept family -- we craft extraordinary floral experiences that leave a lasting impression. As a leading creative artistic florist, we specialise in designing unique event moments for household brands, private clients, and iconic venues across London and beyond.
We're collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering quality -- all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you're someone who's curious, adaptable, and excited to do meaningful work with a team that's got your back, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
We're looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Veevers Carter. Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting our warehouse operations -- ensuring our stock, equipment, and event materials are prepped, packed, and ready to bring spectacular events and installations to life. You'll also assist with on-site event support across some of London's most prestigious venues.
You'll Thrive Here If You...
Have a hands-on, can-do attitude and are always ready to pitch in where needed
Are reliable, punctual, and bring energy to a team setting
Enjoy a physical, active role and are comfortable with manual handling
Are organised, with a keen eye for ensuring things are in their right place
Understand the importance of health and safety in a warehouse environment
Have good time management
Are flexible and open to occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend shifts when events call for it
Have a full UK driving licence is not required, but would be a bonus
Have previous warehouse or event logistics experience is a plus
You don't have to tick every box -- we care just as much about curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset as we do experience on paper.
What You'll Be Doing
Prepping and packing floral equipment, event props, and furniture -- from delicate glassware to heavy pieces
Loading and unloading trucks with care, ensuring items are transported safely
Unpacking, checking, and cleaning equipment after events -- flagging any damages or missing items
Moving goods around the warehouse, using manual and mechanical handling equipment
Supporting with venue installations and de-rigs, ensuring equipment is set up and packed down efficiently
Collecting flowers and supplies from the flower market when required
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment -- including the yard and communal areas
Carrying out recycling and waste disposal
Adhering to all health & safety and security protocols
