Hillmount Bangor is currently looking for a warehouse/ shop assistant. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we would love to hear from you.

We are open seven days a week and operate on a weekly rota.

Shop Hours:

Monday to Saturday 9:00AM - 6:00PM (5:30PM in quieter months)

Sunday 12:00PM - 5:30PM

(Seasonal late nights until 8:00PM)

Responsibilities include:

Keeping warehouse organised & tidy Receiving deliveries Lifting considerably heavy items such as furniture, BBQ's, large pots, compost etc Help load van with heavy items for delivery Operating the till (training will be provided) Processing payments Communicating with customers both over the phone and in person Merchandising products Pricing items using hand scanners and pricing guns Performing general daily shop duties Assisting in the plant area Cleaning restrooms Operating a forklift

Qualifications

Good communication skills Ability to engage effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service Experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Please be aware this role involves a considerable amount of heavy lifting.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
