Maxim Logistics is a privately owned 3rd party logistics business, offering a UK wide food grade (dedicated) delivery service, utilising our own fleet. With over 20 years' experience in the food manufacturing industry, we deliver to over 2000 delivery points for the food industry sector every week.

Hours of work : rotating weekly with a Saturday overtime scheduled shift every 6 weeks.

Week 1 - 06.00 - 14.00

Week 2 - 14.00 - 22.00



Standard activities include:

Standard warehouse activities, picking, loading, using FLT and VNA Plan receiving of stock and assist with booking goods in. Plan overnight picking and loading and other outbound requirements. Supervise the resources of the shift, planning activity and supervising staff. Step up to cover Shift Team Leader Assist colleagues with issues. Ensure all Health and Safety matters, equipment checks and maintenance procedures are carried out and documented Ensure Warehouse is kept tidy and 'clean as we go' rule is followed Support line Manager with investigations and 1st stages of disciplinary meetings Dispatch, loading and checking
Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge of Warehouse procedures and practices Knowledge of Goods In procedures and practices Experienced FLT essential and VNA desirable Attention to detail Ability to concentrate in a busy environment Able to carry out physical activity as the role demands Understanding of written and oral communication.
